Powell’s Supermarket is very community driven and a big supporter of local events and charitable organizations;
You don’t make it to 70 years in business without being an instrumental part of the communities you serve. Besides being a significant employer, Powell’s Supermarket continues to be a company that is committed to engaging with its customers and supporting local groups, individuals, charities, businesses, and more. One such charity is the Children’s Wish Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador. Powell’s Supermarket proudly raised $10,000 and granted the Wish of a local child through Children’s Wish in 2018. These Wish experiences have an incredible impact those children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. It was an unforgettable experience for all those involved in granting the Wish, and we look forward to making dreams come true annually for a child in the Conception Bay North area.
